Artist Statement
Being an artist is not a matter of choice. You are driven to create because it is part of your being. The joy for me is spending more time on my art then in years past. In 1992 I started exploring Watercolor painting. I had had training in other mediums and cannot tell you to this very day why I chose Watercolor. In 2003 I added acrylic and have enjoyed immensely. I pursue many types of subject matter, I started with floral and now also paint nudes. I enjoy the mysteries of our ancient civilizations and love painting ruins.
I expect that painting will continue to be important to me for the rest of my life. I am driven by the love of painting.
