Artist's Statement
My passion...to create something with my hands & mind. Art is therapy for me that I've celebrated for many years. It helps to release fears, explore thoughts and express love.
My recent works show a movement in my life towards something sculptural. They represent building condfidence, strength & love. They also express a direction towards a life of fresh air & little distractions.
I feel a closeness to my pieces made of plaster. They are crafted by hand and painted to heighten their textural quality. I would like them to show a unique approach to painting on a rare "canvas." Thank you for taking this adventure with me.
